서베이 "캐나다인 42%, CBDC 도입에 호의적"

캐나다 중앙은행이 최근 실시한 설문조사에 따르면 응답자의 42%가 중앙은행 디지털 화폐(CBDC) 도입에 호의적인 입장이라고 답했다. 부정적이라고 답한 응답자는 20%, 중립 또는 모르겠다고 답한 응답자는 38%였다. 앞서 캐나다 중앙은행은 지난 9월 CBDC 발행 계획을 보류하기로 결정한 바 있다. 구체적인 이유는 밝히지 않았다.
