코인데스크에 따르면 글로벌 블록체인 정책을 위한 암호화폐 혁신위원회(Crypto Council for Innovation, CCI)와 미국 블록체인 산업 협회 POSA(Proof of Stake Alliance)가 병합됐다. 양사는 성명서를 통해 “두 조직이 통합되면 기술적 전문성과 글로벌 네트워크를 융합해 더 많은 시너지를 낳을 수 있을 것으로 판단했다"고 설명했다. 아울러 양사는 조직 통합 후 일본 암호화폐 사업자협회, 영국 글로벌 디지털 파이낸스 등과 파트너십을 체결했다고 덧붙였다.
