코인텔레그래프에 따르면 호주 빅토리아주 경찰국이 암호화폐 압류 관련 법률 개정안 도입 후 처음으로 14.2만 달러 상당의 암호화폐를 압수했다고 밝혔다. 지난 2023년 8월 1일 도입된 해당 법안에 의거, 경찰은 범죄자가 소지한 암호화폐를 압수할 수 있는 권한을 확보했다.
