미국 상무부 경제분석국(BEA)이 9월 미국 근원 개인소비지출(PCE) 물가지수가 전월 대비 0.3% 상승했다고 발표했다. 다우존스가 집계한 전문가들의 예상치(0.3%)에 부합하는 수치다. 근원 개인소비지출(PCE) 물가지수의 전년 대비 상승률은 2.7%로 시장 전망치(2.6%)를 상회했다. 변동성이 큰 에너지와 식료품을 제외한 근원 PCE 가격지수는 연준이 가장 정확한 물가 지표로 간주하는 지수다.
