미국 선거 전문 사이트 디시전데스크HQ 데이터에 따르면 도널드 트럼프가 총 538명의 선거인단 중 270명을 확보, 대선에서 승리한 것으로 집계됐다. 다만 AP통신의 실시간 데이터에서는 트럼프가 확보한 선거인단이 247명으로, 아직 270명에 도달하지 않을 것으로 집계됐다. 앞서 트럼프는 대선 승리의 최대 관문인 펜실베이니아주에서 승리를 거둔 바 있다.
