크립토베이직에 따르면 유럽 디지털 자산 전문 자산운용사 코인쉐어스의 리서치 총괄 제임스 버터필(James Butterfill)이 "도널드 트럼프가 재선에 성공함에 따라 암호화폐 업계가 큰 변화를 겪을 가능성이 있다. 특히 비트코인 법(BITCOIN Act)이 통과될 가능성이 있다"고 말했다. 이는 친암호화폐 성향의 미국 와이오밍 주 상원의원 신시아 루미스(Cynthia Lummis)가 발의한 것으로, 연방준비제도(Fed·연준)가 전략적 준비 자산으로 최대 비트코인 총 공급량의 5%를 보유하도록 요구하는 내용이다. 제임스 버터필은 "비트코인 비축 법안이 시행되면 금융기관과 정부기관의 상당한 관심을 불러일으키게 될 것이다. 비트코인의 가치가 새로운 차원으로 치솟을 것"이라고 강조했다.
