블룸버그에 따르면 미국 워싱턴 연방법원이 암호화폐 믹싱 서비스 비트코인 포그(Bitcoin Fog) 창업자 로만 스털링로프(Roman Sterlingov)에 12년6개월 징역형을 선고했다. 또한 3.95억달러와 1.03억달러 상당 BTC를 몰수하는 처분을 내렸다. 앞서 스털링로프는 불법 마약 판매 관련 다크넷의 자금세탁을 도운 혐의로 체포됐으며 검찰은 30년 징역형을 구형한 바 있다.
