크립토포테이토에 따르면, 캐나다 당국이 지난 6월 납치된 암호화폐 인플루언서 케빈 미르샤히(Kevin Mirshahi)의 시신을 지난 10월 30일 몬트리올에서 발견했다고 전했다. 미르샤히는 인플루언서로 활동하며 투자회사 크립토 파라다이스 아일랜드 등을 운영한 것으로 전해졌다. 매체는 "암호화폐 관계자들과 인플루언서를 대상으로 한 표적 범행이 증가하고 있다"고 부연했다.
