스완 비트코인, "영업 비밀 훔친 테더 변호했다"...로펌 '깁스' 고소

코인텔레그래프에 따르면, 암호화폐 금융 서비스 기업 스완 비트코인(Swan Bitcoin)이 스테이블코인 발행사 테더(Tether)를 대리한 로펌 깁슨, 던 & 크러처(Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher)에 배임 혐의가 있다며 소송을 제기했다. 스완 비트코인은 지난 22일(현지시간) 캘리포니아 고등법원에 출석해 "깁슨은 스완비트코인의 전 파트너였지만 테더를 대리하는 변호사를 고용하며 이해 상충 문제가 발생했고, 기존 신뢰관계도 배신했다. 이는 법적 대리인의 윤리적 의무와 고객 신뢰 관리 실패로 볼 수 있다"고 설명했다. 앞서 스완비트코인(Swan Bitcoin)은 전(前) 직원이 테더 측 지원을 받아 자사 BTC 채굴 사업 핵심 코드를 훔쳤다며 소송을 제기한 바 있다.
