코인텔레그래프에 따르면, 암호화폐 하드월렛 제조사 트레저(Trezor)가 비트코인이 사상 최고가를 경신한 주에 하드월렛 판매량이 600% 급증했다고 밝혔다. 트레저 최고규정책임자(CCO) 대니 샌더스(Danny Sanders)는 "트럼프 당선이 규제 명확성을 제공해 기관들의 암호화폐 채택을 늘릴 것으로 기대되며, 셀프 커스터디 수요도 동반 증가할 것으로 보인다"고 말했다.
