BTC 채굴 상장사, 2년간 장비 업그레이드 등에 $36억 지출

코인텔레그래프가 더마이너매거진(TheMinerMag)을 인용해 비트코인 채굴 상장사 16곳이 최근 2년 동안 채굴장비·설비·부지 등 유형자산(PP&E)에 총 36억 달러를 지출한 것으로 집계됐다고 전했다. 특히 올 3분기는 지난 2022년 1분기 이후 PP&E 지출 규모가 가장 컸던 분기였다. 특히 채굴기업들이 가장 많이 지출한 분야는 채굴장비 업그레이드인 것으로 나타났다. 통상 채굴장비는 성능 유지를 위해 3~5년마다 업그레이드 해야 한다고 매체는 설명했다.
