코인게이프(CoinGape)에 따르면, 친암호화페 성향의 미국 하원의원 프렌치 힐(French Hill)이 “'오퍼레이션 초크 포인트 2.0 작전(Operation Choke Point 2.0· 미국 정부가 암호화폐에 대한 규제 및 금융 압박을 강화하려는 움직임)'에 대해 철저히 조사할 계획이다. 정치권이 금융기관을 통해 합법적인 사업을 방해(디뱅킹, 은행들이 암호화폐 관련 계좌를 일방적으로 동결하는 관행)하는 것을 허용해선 안 된다"고 지적했다.
