코인텔레그래프가 “현재 인도에는 전 세계 암호화폐 개발자의 약 12%가 거주하고 있으며, 미국에 이어 두 번째로 큰 개발자 허브 중심지로 떠올랐다”고 전했다. 매체는 “인도의 웹3 스타트업들은 2020년 이후 현재까지 누적 30억 달러 이상의 펀딩을 받았다. 2024년 1~9월에만 4억 6200만 달러 투자를 유치했으며, 이는 작년 대비 82% 늘어난 수치”라고 설명했다.
