암호화폐 거래소 CEX.IO 보고서에 따르면 전체 암호화폐 시가총액에서 밈코인이 차지하는 비중은 12월 1일 기준 3.16%를 차지했다. 연초 1.3%에서 증가했다. BTC, ETH를 제외하면 밈코인 점유율은 11.21%로 치솟는다. 현재 매일 6만개 이상의 밈코인이 생성되고 있다. 밈코인 시가총액은 1400억 달러 수준이다.
