코인데스크에 따르면 트론(TRX), 테더, TRM랩스가 공동 출범한 금융범죄퇴치 태스크포스 T3가 "지난 9월 출범 후 암호화폐 사기에 연루된 1억 USDT를 동결했다"고 밝혔다. T3는 "5개 대륙에 걸쳐 30억 USDT 규모 수백 만 건 거래를 모니터링했다. 투자 사기, 불법 약물, 테러 자금 조달, 해킹, 폭력 등의 범죄에 사용된 USDT가 동결됐다"고 설명했다.
