암호화폐 뉴스레터 웨일와이어 소속 애널리스트 제이콥 킹(Jacob King)이 X를 통해 "약세장이 다가옴에 따라 비트코인 고래들이 조용히 매도하고 있다. 슈퍼 고래(10,000+ $BTC)는 지난해 9월부터 매도를 시작했으며, 특히 지난 2주 동안 매도 속도를 올렸다. 일반 고래(1~10,000 $BTC) 또한 매도를 늘리고 있다"고 말했다. 제이콥 킹은 '비트코인은 쓸모가 없다'며 꾸준하게 회의론을 제기해 온 비트코인 회의론자로 알려져 있다.
