더블록에 따르면 블록체인 기반 홍채 스캔 신원 인증 프로젝트 월드(구 월드코인, WLD)가 글로벌 검증 건수가 1000만 건을 돌파했다고 발표했다. 2000만 명이 넘는 사용자가 월드 애플리케이션을 다운로드했으며 160개 이상의 국가 및 지역에서 사용됐다는 설명이다.
