로빈후드, 미 SEC와 $4500만 벌금 합의

블룸버그에 따르면 주식·암호화폐 거래 앱 로빈후드가 미국 증권거래위원회(SEC)와의 민사소송에서 4500만 달러의 벌금을 지불하는데 합의했다. 앞서 SEC는 로빈후드가 중개 업무에서 다수 증권법을 위반했다고 지적한 바 있다. 로빈후드 측은 이 같은 위반 사항에 대해 인정이나 부인 없이 벌금 지불에 합의하면서 "향후 미국 새 행정부에서의 SEC와 협력을 기대한다"고 밝혔다.
