블룸버그에 따르면 미국 상품선물거래위원회(CFTC)가 크립토닷컴의 자체 스포츠 예측 베팅 서비스 합법성을 검토할 계획인 것으로 나타났다. 사안에 정통한 소식통은 "CFTC가 크립토닷컴의 스포츠 예측 베팅 서비스 합법성 검토를 논의 중이며, 만약 검토가 완료되면 위원회는 해당 서비스를 금지 시킬 수 있다"고 전했다. 앞서 크립토닷컴은 탈중앙화 예측시장 플랫폼 폴리마켓과 유사한 스타일의 스포츠 팀 승리 베팅 서비스를 출시한다고 밝힌 바 있다.
