디크립트에 따르면 이탈리아 마르첼로 코포 의회의원이 은행 재단(Bank foundations)에 비트코인 투자를 촉구했다. 그는 현지 매체와의 인터뷰에서 "은행의 비트코인 투자가 암호화폐 시장 성장을 가속화할 수 있다"며 "은행 재단은 수익 일부를 암호화폐에 할당할 필요가 있다"고 강조했다. 은행 재단은 이탈리아 88개 은행이 사회, 문화, 자산 활동 지원을 위해 설립한 비영리 법인이다.
