코인베이스 제품 전략 및 비즈니스 운영 부문 이사인 코너 그로건(Conor Grogan)이 X를 통해 "실크로드 설립자 로스 울브리히트(Ross Ulbricht)와 관련된 수십 개 월렛에서 약 430 BTC를 발견했다. 해당 물량은 미국 정부에 의해 압수되지 않았고, 13년 간 이동도 없었다. 당시에는 가치가 매우 보잘 것 없었겠지만 현재는 약 4700만 달러 상당에 해당한다"고 밝혔다.
