비트와이즈 최고투자책임자(CIO) 매트 호건(Matt Hougan)이 X를 통해 “지난 10년 동안 S&P500지수(SPX)가 2% 이상 하락한 날 비트코인은 평균 2.62% 하락했다. 같은날 금은 평균 0.11% 상승했다. 하지만 기준일 이후 1년 뒤 비트코인은 평균 189% 상승, 금은 7% 상승했다. 지금이라고 해서 바뀐 건 없다. 비트코인은 단기적으로 하락세지만, 장기적으로는 상승세다”고 분석했다.
