코인텔레그래프에 따르면, 암호화폐 자산운용사 그레이스케일이 뉴욕 증권거래소(NYSE)와 미국 증권거래위원회(SEC)에 리플(XRP) 현물 ETF를 신청했다. 이와 관련 폭스비즈니스 기자 엘리노어 테렛은 "다음 주에 XRP ETF를 신청하는 발행사들이 늘어날 수 있으니 주목해야 할 것"이라고 전했다. 또 블룸버그 ETF 전문 애널리스트 제임스 세이파트는 "해당 신청은 그레이스케일 XRP 트러스트를 ETF로 전환하기 위한 것이며, 해당 트러스트가 운용 중인 자산은 1,600만 달러"라고 설명했다.
