외신에 따르면 미국 연방준비제도(Fed·연준) 이사 크리스토퍼 월러(Christopher Waller)가 "스테이블코인은 합성 달러와 같다. 달러의 기축통화 지위를 더욱 공고히 하는데 도움이 될 것"이라고 말했다. 이어 "스테이블코인에 대한 규제가 시급하다. 빠르면 빠를수록 좋다"고 덧붙였다.
