코인데스크에 따르면 도널드 트럼프 미국 대통령의 장남인 도널드 트럼프 주니어가 뉴욕에서 개최된 온도 서밋에서 "암호화폐는 미국 경제 패권의 미래가 될 것이다. 암호화폐는 금융의 미래이며, 우리가 이를 주도할 수 있는 환경을 조성해야 한다"고 말했다. 이어 "암호화폐를 활용할 수 있는 체계를 구축해야 하며, 암호화폐를 전혀 알지 못하는 사람들에 의해 과도하게 규제돼 그 본질이 훼손되지 않도록 해야 한다"고 설명했다.
