더블록에 따르면 중앙아프리카공화국이 발행한 밈코인 CAR이 출시된 지 이틀 만에 96.7% 폭락했다. 앞서 중앙아프리카공화국 대통령 포스탱아르캉주 투아데라(Faustin-Archange Touadéra)는 X를 통해 밈코인 CAR를 출시했다고 밝힌 바 있으며, 일각에서 해당 계정이 해킹된 것 아니냐는 주장이 제기됐다.
