JP모건이 "테더는 미국 의회가 심사 중인 스테이블코인 규제안을 준수하기 위해 보유 중인 비트코인이나 기업채, 금 등을 매도해야 할 수도 있다"고 분석한 데 대해 테더 최고경영자(CEO) 파올로 아르도이노가 "JP모건 애널리스트들은 BTC를 보유하고 있지 않기 때문에 심술을 부렸다"고 말했다.
