바이비트(Bybit) CEO 벤 저우(Ben Zhou)가 X를 통해 "바이비트 서명자(Signers)들이 사용하는 호스트(컴퓨터) 포렌식 조사 결과, 이번 해킹의 근본적인 원인이 온체인 디지털 자산 커스터디 프로토콜 세이프(SAFE) 월렛 인프라에서 발생한 악성 코드로 확인됐다. 바이비트 인프라 내 침해 흔적은 발견되지 않았다. 추가 확인을 위해 조사를 계속 진행 중"이라고 밝혔다.
