금융당국이 최근 가상자산 거래 확산 등에 따른 신종 자금세탁수법을 예방하기 위해 자금세탁방지 시스템 강화에 나선다고 한국경제가 보도했다. 금융위원회 산하 FIU(금융정보분석원)는 'AML(자금세탁방지) 검사수탁기관 협의회'를 열고, '2025년 감독·검사 운영방향'에 따른 기관별 검사 계획을 논의했다. FIU는 민생침해 범죄 예방을 위해 가상계좌, 간편송금 악용거래 등 신종 자금세탁수법에 대응한다는 방침이다.
