더불어민주당이 가상자산 정책 공론화 작업에 들어갔다고 경향신문이 단독 보도했다. 민주당 집권플랜본부는 6일 세미나에서 트럼프 정부 움직임에 대응하는 한국의 가상자산 정책 방향을 논의할 예정이다. 경향신문이 사전에 입수한 발제문에는 “한국은행 및 기획재정부가 운용하는 외환보유고 포트폴리오에 비트코인을 일부 포함하는 것이 가능한지 검토가 필요하다”, “금융기관들이 비트코인을 상장지수펀드(ETF), 채권 담보자산, 외환거래 수단으로 활용하게 하는 방안도 연구해야 한다”는 의견이 포함됐다.
