테크크런치에 따르면, 미국 비밀경호국(USS)이 유럽연합(EU) 제재 대상인 러시아 암호화폐 거래소 가란텍스(Garantex) 웹사이트를 차단했다. 가란텍스는 이에 앞서 암호화폐 출금을 포함한 모든 서비스를 중단한다고 공지한 것으로 전해졌다. 최근 달러 연동 스테이블코인 발행사 테더도 가란텍스가 보유한 2,700만 USDT를 동결한 바 있다.
