웹3 커뮤니티 플랫폼 갤럭시(G) 산하 레이어1 블록체인 그래비티(Gravity)가 7,000-8,000 수준의 초당 트랜잭션 처리량(TPS)을 달성했다고 암호화폐 데이터 분석 업체 메사리가 전했다. 이번 테스트는 그래비티의 Grevm 2.0 업데이트 이후 데브넷 1.0 환경에서 진행됐다. 메사리는 "앱토스 아키텍처를 활용해 구축된 그래비티의 TPS는 평균 10,000에 이를 것으로 예상되며 이는 이더리움(300-400), 솔라나(3,000~4,000)를 크게 상회하는 수치"라고 설명했다. 갤럭시 최고기술책임자(CTO) 유민 시아(Yumin Xia)는 “그래비티는 빠르고 확장 가능하며, 호환성과 오픈소스를 모두 갖춘 체인이다. 모나드(Monad)와 같은 경쟁 프로젝트와 유사한 TPS 성능을 보이지만, 우리는 개방형 생태계를 지향하고 있다는 점에서 차별화된다. 모든 개발자가 차세대 웹3 프로젝트를 구축할 수 있도록 지원할 것”이라고 말했다.
