글로벌 관세 전쟁 속 비트코인이 80~90% 폭락할 수 있다는 분석이 나왔다. 암호화폐 뉴스레터 웨일와이어 소속 애널리스트 제이콥 킹(Jacob King)은 "중국에 대한 미국의 관세 부과는 비트코인에 치명적인 위협이다. 채굴기, 채굴풀, 칩 등 비트코인 인프라가 모두 중국에 구축돼 있기 때문이다. 여기에 곧 시행될 스테이블코인 규제로 인해 테더까지 규제 타깃이 될 가능성도 있다"고 설명했다.
