이더리움(ETH)이 출시 후 약 1년 반 동안만 비트코인을 능가하는 가격 상승률을 보여줬다고 코인텔레그래프가 전했다. 글래스노드 수석 분석가 제임스 체크에 따르면 ETH는 2015년 중반부터 2017년 중반까지 BTC의 상승률을 크게 상회했으며, 2019년 말과 2020년 초에도 짧은 기간 BTC 이상의 가격 상승률을 보였다. 반면 10년 내 약 85% 기간 동안에는 BTC의 상승률이 더 높았다. 한편 ETH/BTC(1 ETH당 BTC 비율)은 9일 5년 만에 최저 수준인 0.019 수준을 기록 중이다.
