미국 연방준비제도(Fed·연준) 금융 감독 부의장 미셸 보우만(Michelle Bowman)이 상원 은행위원회 청문회에 참석, 2023년 3월 발생한 은행(실리콘밸리뱅크, 실버게이트뱅크, 시그니처벵크) 파산 사건과 관련해 독립적인 조사를 시작하고 싶다고 밝혔다. 크립토인아메리카 진행자 엘리노어 테렛 X 계정에 따르면 그는 당시 부의장 전임자인 마이클 바(Michael Barr)가 내놓은 자체 평가에 대해 다른 연준 위원은 조사 혹은 논평할 수 없는 상황이었다고 지적했다. 다만 미셀 보우만은 구체적인 은행명은 밝히지 않았다.
