외신에 따르면 샌프란시스코 연은 총재 메리 데일리(Mary Daly)가 "올해 두 차례의 금리 인하가 예상되지만, 인플레이션이 더 높아질 경우 올해 금리 인하 횟수가 2회 미만으로 줄어들 수 있다"고 말했다. 그는 "급한 마음을 갖지 않고 점진적으로 정책 금리를 낮추는 것이 옳은 접근 방식이다. 연준이 할 수 있는 유일한 약속은 물가 안정"이라며 "현재 미국의 노동 시장은 안정적이지만, 물가 안정은 아직 달성하지 못했다"고 덧붙였다.
