미국 시장조사업체 펀드스트랫(Fundstrat) 설립자 톰 리(Tom Lee)가 "비트코인 시장에서 기관 투자자들의 매도세를 이끌었던 디레버리징(deleveraging) 압력이 사라졌다. 디레버리징 현상은 특히 주말마다 비트코인 가격을 억눌러왔던 주요 요인이었다. 디레버리징이 해소되면서 비트코인이 금과 같은 비달러 자산으로서 입지를 확대할 가능성이 커졌다"고 CNBC에 출연해 말했다.
