미 증권거래위원회(SEC)가 암호화폐 투자사 유니코인과 주요 경영진을 사기 혐의로 고소했다고 전했다. SEC는 "이들은 유니코인 토큰이 부동산을 포함한 실물자산으로 뒷받침된다고 투자자들을 속이고, 미등록증권을 판매해 1억달러 이상 모금했다. 이에 따라 부당이득을 환수하고 민사제재금을 부과하기로 했다"고 설명했다.
