Kraken receives EU MiFID license to launch regulated derivatives products

PANews reported on February 3rd that according to official news, the cryptocurrency exchange Kraken announced that it had obtained the EU Financial Instruments Market Directive (MiFID) license, which was obtained through the acquisition of a Cyprus investment company, which recently obtained the approval of the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC). This move enables Kraken to provide compliant and regulated derivatives to cryptocurrency traders in selected EU markets. In the next few months, Kraken will work hard to meet the conditions for going online and launch related products in the local EU market.
