The probability of a rate cut by the Federal Reserve in September is close to 70%

CME's "Fed Watch" data showed that the probability of the Fed keeping interest rates unchanged in July was 95.3%, and the probability of a 25 basis point rate cut was 4.7%. The probability of the Fed keeping interest rates unchanged in September dropped to 32%, the probability of a cumulative 25 basis point rate cut was 64.9%, and the probability of a cumulative 50 basis point rate cut was 3.1%.
