PANews reported on November 27 that a fire broke out in multiple residential buildings in Hung Fook Court, Tai Po, New Territories, Hong Kong yesterday afternoon, causing significant casualties and property damage. Following the disaster, Weng Xiaoqi, Executive Director and CEO of Newfire Technology, announced that he and the company will personally donate HK$1 million to emergency rescue efforts, resettlement of affected residents, and post-disaster reconstruction, and will continue to monitor the progress of the relief efforts.
