Terminal tool Ghostty has announced its departure from GitHub, initiating a migration due to stability issues.

PANews reported on April 29th that Mitchell Hashimoto, founder of the terminal tool Ghostty, announced his gradual departure from GitHub. As an early GitHub user (registered in 2008, ID 1299), Hashimoto has long relied on the platform, but recent frequent outages have impacted the team's development efficiency. This migration plan had been in the works for several months and was officially decided this week. The future hosting platform for his projects has not yet been announced, existing repositories will remain as read-only mirrors, and his other personal projects will not be migrated at this time.
