Justin Sun: David Geffen is attacking me personally, Le Nez is my legal property

According to PANews on April 19, Justin Sun posted on XBreakthrough: “David Geffen is attacking me personally. No matter how he slanders my reputation, Le Nez is my legal property and I am fully confident that I can get it back.”

Earlier news, Justin Sun has sued billionaire collector David Geffen, demanding the return of Alberto Giacometti's sculpture "Le Nez", claiming that a rogue art consultant sold the work to David Geffen through forged signatures and elaborate planning of fictitious lawyers.

Sun, who bought the Lenze at Sotheby’s for $78.4 million in 2021, claims his former advisor, Xiong Zihan Sydney, orchestrated the sale without his consent, forged documents and even posed as an attorney via email to push the deal. Now Sun wants his sculpture back, “or substantial compensation.” David Geffen’s attorney, Tibor L. Nagy, said the lawsuit was “absurd and without merit” and suggested Sun simply regretted the deal. The complaint does not contain any allegations that Geffen had any connection or relationship with Xiong. “The deal was made through an intermediary,” Nagy said. “If a year later Justin Sun is unhappy with the deal that the intermediary made for him, then there is no basis for a claim against David Geffen.”
