PANews reported on March 18 that according to Decrypt, Australian crypto exchange Swyftx announced the acquisition of New Zealand's largest digital asset platform Easy Crypto . This transaction further expands Swyftx's influence in the Australian and New Zealand markets. The transaction amount was not disclosed.

The acquisition brings Swyftx’s total customer base to 1.1 million , including 350,000 users of Easy Crypto, which was founded in 2018 and has a cumulative transaction volume of over $2.1 billion , providing non-custodial trading, New Zealand dollar stablecoin (NZDD) and self-custodial wallet services.
