PANews reported on December 9th that, according to The Block, Bitwise Chief Investment Officer Matt Hougan stated that the crypto market will grow 10 to 20 times over the next decade as Bitcoin, stablecoins, and asset tokenization become more widespread. He cited SEC Chairman Paul Atkins, who stated that the entire US stock market will be on-chain within a few years. Currently, the total value of US stocks is approximately $68 trillion, while only about $670 million worth of stocks are on-chain, indicating that the transformation is still in its early stages. Hougan emphasized that he does not bet on a single public chain, but prefers to hold crypto market index funds to mitigate risk.
