PANews reported on November 21 that, according to information on the website of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the SEC's Encryption Task Force will hold a public roundtable discussion on financial surveillance and privacy issues at its headquarters in Washington, D.C., from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Eastern Time) on December 15, 2025. The meeting will delve into relevant policy issues, and public registration for in-person participation is supported, with a live online stream also available.
