PANews reported on February 6th that, according to a post by X platform user @definalist, a Bithumb employee made a distribution error during an airdrop, mistakenly sending 2,000 BTC instead of the intended tokens to hundreds of users. This caused the BTC price on the Bithumb exchange to plummet by 10% compared to other markets.
