PANews reported on December 18th that, according to crypto journalist Eleanor Terrett, the Federal Reserve has decided to rescind a 2023 guidance that effectively prevented uninsured banks from becoming Fed members and participating in cryptocurrency-related businesses. This guidance was the basis for the Fed's rejection of Custodia Bank's master account application.
