Shanghai, October 26, 2025 – The finals of the 2025 "Digital Chain Valley" Cup, the 7th Yangtze River Delta Blockchain Application Innovation Competition, were successfully held at the Shibei Science and Technology Innovation Conference Center in Jing'an District, Shanghai. The competition, in line with the national strategic plan to accelerate the innovation and development of blockchain technology, is based on the development needs of the "Digital Chain Valley" National Blockchain Application Demonstration Zone and leverages blockchain technology to promote high-quality integrated development in the Yangtze River Delta.
The competition adheres to the concept of promoting application and setting standards through competition, with the theme of "New Quality Drives, Connects the Future", focusing on the deep integration of blockchain technology and the real economy. Relying on an authoritative scientific and technological evaluation system, it conducts multi-dimensional evaluations of participating projects, aiming to select the most innovative, application-worthy and market-potential projects, and inject new impetus into the long-term development of the blockchain industry.
Diversified track expansion, showing international foresight
Based on the Industry Growth Group and Innovation Project Group, the competition has added an international track - the New Technology Finance Group , which has attracted innovative projects in the digital asset fields such as Web3.0 and RWA (Real World Assets) from many countries and regions including the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and Hong Kong to actively participate, broadening the scope of the competition and demonstrating internationalization and cutting-edge vision.
After rigorous selection through preliminary and semi-final rounds, 38 outstanding projects emerged as the winners of today's finals. These projects spanned key areas including government governance, trade and supply chain finance, FinTech, smart agriculture, data element applications, dual carbon and energy, smart buildings, healthcare, and digital assets, showcasing the broad application prospects and vibrant innovation of blockchain technology as a foundational support technology. The finals attracted over 100 distinguished guests, experts, scholars, and practitioners from government, industry, academia, research, and finance, creating a lively atmosphere.
Authoritative expert review to ensure fairness and professionalism
To ensure professional, fair, and impartial judging, the competition organizing committee invited cross-disciplinary think tank experts from the government, industry, research, and application sectors to form the final judging panel. Representatives from government departments such as the Municipal Cyberspace Administration, the Municipal Cultural and Creative Office, the Municipal Science and Technology Association, and the Municipal Data Bureau, as well as experts from universities and science and technology parks, also participated. Leaders from local associations such as the Municipal Digital Business Association and the Municipal Data Overseas Association also participated, as did leaders from relevant associations in Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces. Prior to the competition, the judging panel convened a meeting of experts to standardize the evaluation criteria. The panel comprehensively considered and rigorously evaluated the participating projects based on a comprehensive and authoritative scientific and technological evaluation system, focusing on multiple core dimensions: technological advancement, application scenario feasibility, business model innovation, team structure rationality, and project risk assessment.
