PANews reported on August 21st that according to The Verge , Google announced that its new AI voice assistant , Gemini for Home, will be available on Nest smart speakers and displays through an early access program in October of this year, with both free and paid versions. Gemini for Home will replace the existing Google Assistant , enabling more natural voice interaction and supporting complex home control, list creation, and reminder creation. Gemini Live will also be released simultaneously, enhancing the multi-turn conversation experience. Google may release new Nest hardware this fall to coincide with the upgrade.
